Editorial Standards
Our Editorial Approach
At No Spin Media, our mission is simple: deliver the facts, provide meaningful context, and let readers form their own opinions.
Our editorial process combines human judgment with artificial intelligence to produce original, informative, and balanced news coverage.
We identify important news developments, research the underlying facts, and develop independently written articles that emphasize accuracy, clarity, and context.
Artificial intelligence supports our research, writing, and fact-checking processes. Cross-checking information against multiple sources helps us identify inconsistencies, evaluate information, and minimize political bias and sensationalism.
Human editorial oversight sets our story-selection standards and editorial priorities, and we remain responsible for every story we publish.
We recognize that no reporting process is perfect. When errors are identified, we are committed to reviewing and correcting them.
Our goal is not to tell readers what to think, but to provide the information they need to reach their own conclusions.
The facts. The context. No spin.
Who We Are
🧭 No Spin Media is an independent digital news publication covering national, world and New England news. It launched in 2025, is based in New England, United States, and is published by No Spin Media.
We are not affiliated with any political party, campaign, or advocacy group. We are funded by reader support and advertising. Sponsors cannot purchase or influence individual news coverage, and we do not accept payment to publish, change, or remove a news story.
How a Story Comes Together
- Selection. Every day we monitor a defined, regularly reviewed list of established news organizations, wire services, and public sources across the political spectrum. Developments are prioritized using editorial criteria our editors set, including public significance, impact on readers, and whether the facts can be confirmed.
- Research. Before a story is written, the development is checked against additional, independent sources to confirm what happened and to identify what is still unknown or disputed.
- Writing. Our articles are independently written using researched and attributed information from multiple sources. We do not reproduce other publishers' articles as our own. Each article sets out the confirmed facts, explains the context, and presents relevant viewpoints without endorsing them.
- Verification. Key facts are cross-checked against additional published sources before publication, and our editorial rules call for neutral language and clear attribution.
- Publication and updates. Stories are published on a regular schedule. Our editors monitor what we publish and can hold, update, correct, or remove any story.
Accuracy
- We aim to report what can be confirmed, and to say clearly when information is preliminary, disputed, or still developing.
- Our standards do not allow speculation, rumor, or opinion to be presented as fact.
- Our process is designed to check key facts, such as names, numbers, dates, and quotations, against their sources.
- When we learn that something we published is wrong, we correct it. See our Corrections Policy.
Neutrality and Balance
- We aim to describe events in plain, neutral language, without loaded terms, sensational framing, or clickbait headlines.
- When a subject is contested, we work to explain the main positions fairly and attribute each one to the people or groups who hold it.
- We separate facts from analysis. We do not publish opinion pieces or endorse candidates or causes.
Sourcing and Attribution
- Our articles are based on information published by established news organizations, official statements, court and government records, and public data.
- When an important fact comes from a particular organization's reporting or from an official source, we aim to name that source in the article.
- We prefer primary sources (documents, official data, on-the-record statements) and confirm significant claims with more than one independent source whenever possible.
How We Use Artificial Intelligence
We use artificial intelligence as a tool within an editorial process directed by people. It helps us:
- monitor news sources and organize developing stories;
- research and cross-check facts across multiple sources;
- draft articles in a consistent, neutral style; and
- apply our editorial rules on accuracy, attribution, and neutral language.
Our editors set our coverage priorities and the editorial rules our AI-assisted process follows, monitor what we publish, and remain responsible for it. Research, drafting, and verification are carried out within those rules. No verification process catches every error, so we welcome readers who report one.
Some article images are AI-generated illustrations. They are labeled as such and are never presented as photographs of real events.
More detail: AI Transparency.
Independence
Our coverage decisions are made independently. Advertising, sponsorship, and reader support help pay for the site, but advertisers, sponsors, and donors have no say in what we cover or how.
Accountability and Contact
We take errors seriously. Readers can report an error or concern through our Corrections Policy page, and reach us any time through our Contact page or at nospinmedia.ai@gmail.com.
